Wolf Legend - Part XXI21. Six Weeks Later (Epilogue)

Rabeka sat outside the office building. A cold wind gust blasted against her, blowing her hair all over. She pulled at her scarf, fiddling with the tassels at the ends.
She sat fidgeting nervously, waiting for Andrew to come out of the board meeting. It had been a long battle up until this point, not just with the mob and almost being killed, but life returning to normal wasn't a happy ending. Andrew was in front of a company board meeting, determining whether or not he would be terminated, or kept as a costumer support manager.

Andrew took heavy breaths as fear overwhelmed him. He trembled; Rabeka could barely hold him, firmly bracing herself against his chest. Too much of his past coming back to haunt him all at once—he wasn't prepared for this.
Up until that point he thought that Alex had come alone—settling his own personal vendetta—and never once thought the entire pack would leave their sanctuary in the mountains. A few, yes. He figured Stephan was obsessed enough with control that he would send out scouts to hunt him down.

Love it!

I started liking Anubis when I played Age of Mythology for the first time. :)
And I've been liking him ever since.

P.S. This sequence makes me wonder what goes through his head, both during and after.

Sweet. I love Anubis, but there's not too much good Anubis stuff out there, much less a good anubis TF. This has reminded me to finish the one I started.
