I've read all of them before seeing the movies, and while the movies did the books somewhat justice (not the first one, but the second one maybe), they just didn't have it as the book explained it best. Now, the books aren't perfect by any means, but the story telling is good, and I quite enjoyed it. Anyone who has seen both will tell you that the books are better.

Now....

If you haven't read the books, don't complain, because you have no right to. If you have, and you don't like it, fair enough, just leave your hatred elsewhere and don't judge me for liking the series.

Now, this stamp doesn't mean the movies are absolutely horrid.

Yes, they could have acted better.
Yes, they could have stuck to how the original characters in the book behaved.
Yes, they should have kept the scenes more like the book.

The movies were visually pleasing and entertaining, but they don't do the books justice. In the books, Edward isn't that Emo, and Bella is actually interesting.

So, if you agree with the stamp, save it. If you don't, don't save it. If you hate Twilight, then move on.

Also, if you feel the movies were actually better than the books, good for you. You're entitled to your opinion, however I know for a fact that the majority of Twilight fans agree the books will always be better.
