So, just read it. I disabled comments because I know people will flame me, which just shows how hypocritical they are if they can't accept that I am hetero and proud of it.
I don't hate gays, but I'm not very happy with their attitude of "accept us or else", especially after Prop 8. The way they vandalized churches, hurt people, and just behaved like a bunch of whiners. Sorry, but tolerance really does go both ways.
Don't hate me because I don't approve of your lifestyle, because apparently, you don't approve of mine. Fair enough. But I'm not a bigot if you think I have to approve of yours.
I supported prop 8 because I believe that the title of "marriage" should stay between a man and a woman. I believe in equal rights, don't get me wrong. I wish that somehow gays could get the same rights we do, but get a different title. Civil marriage, or something else.
Hetero marriage is NOT the same as homo marriage. It just isn't. We can have children, statistics show we have much more stable families that last longer, and love overall is just viewed differently.
Children NEED a mother and a father. It's how its been done forever and I feel very strongly about that. Children are born with the instincts of having a mother and a father. Without it, they can have a hard childhood.
Also, don't attack religious people. They voted because its what they believe in. You voted because it was what YOU believed in. Again, tolerance. We respected your votes, respect ours. The vote was fair, and it DOES NOT MATTER what their reasons were for. The reason for voting is irrelevant. It could be for any reason, and you just have to take it with a grain of salt. No matter what, majority rules. Get over it.
Also, Instead of trying to take "marriage" and attack those that have it, try to make a difference. Go and create your own union. Create your own unique name for your relationship. Stop trying to take ours.
Like it says, tolerance goes both ways. Don't call me a bigot before looking in the mirror.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
