^{This was last summer vising Wolf Mountain Sanctuary, in Lucerne Valley, CA, its an amazing establishment where you get the rare opportunity to go inside and interact with the wolves face to face!

I plan on going to wolfmountain here soon. Been planning for a while. How was your trip and what'd you do? What can I expect when I go?

Well its in the middle of nowhere and I went in July so it was blazing hot, but it was really fun. Most of the wolves are in cages, then the really old ones you can go in the pen, but the most action is in the puppy pen.

Its $20 (donation) to get in to see them. You get to feed them carrots too.

Oh wow,well I didn't know they had a limit. We were there for 3 hours I think. Course that's not all day, but yeah. XD

Yeah that's the small fee from what I saw on their site a few months back. There are different times and fees you can pay and spend there lol.

I definitely want to learn more about them so I'm gonna get as much benefit from the trip as I can

Just revisted now and here's what I found pricing wise

Visiting Days: Thursday - Sunday (call for exceptions)

Visiting Hours: 10:00am - 5:00pm (last tour at 4pm)

Required Donation Per Person:

$25 for 1 Hour Tour

$75 for Half Day Tour

$150 - Private 1 Hour Tour with Tonya & the Wolves

$140 for Full Day at the Sanctuary (please specify when making appt)

$300 for professional photographers (must sign photo release)

Length of Tour:

Approximately 1 hour

Extended/Private Tours can be specially requested when you make your reservation.

Did you go on a day of an event? I think it was around July/August that they had a special of like $50 (maybe it was 25?) cause it was Tanya's bday. Ironically I only found out about them cause I sold a 75g acrylic fish tank to some guy with "www.wolfmountain.com" on the back of his truck lol. I also learned more about them from the wolfdog groups I'm in, so that totally jazzed me up for going haha
