EEEEEEEEEEEE! The ears look so fantastic! Now I want to buy it even more! Hoping something can still be discussed about that possibility. This is seriously the best intimidating werewolf mask I have ever seen - and I've been all over looking for the perfect one. I am so glad I watch you and all your terrific work here, or I'd have missed this epic work of art <33333333333
Dude if I had $1000, I'd do it in a heartbeat. I'm completely in love with this and I have it set in my mind that it could TOTALLY be used for a WoW Worgen costume in the future (Blizzcon 2012 perhaps ). But sadly, I'm only just getting my footing financially - I don't even have my own place yet. So I'd only realistically be able to do a payment plan over the course of months.
I totally understand - I'd be super reluctant to part with it. No, that's a lie. I'd flat out not sell it because I personally love it xD I myself would not need a tail considering I'd be set on using it for a WoW Worgen costume in the future (thinking Blizzcon 2012) and they don't have tails. But I'd have my work cut out for me to make the rest of the costume myself. Definitely a learning experience. I'll say right now that I'd only realistically be able to do a payment plan over the course of months though so I'm not sure if you'd even be able/willing to do that if you did decide to sell it and sell it to me.
Oi, that makes me super nervous because the original $600 you were talking about selling it for (prior to completion way back) would already hurt my finances. I can only imagine how high the bidding will go. o_o;
My husband thinks I could sell it for $1000 for real, but I'm thinking with the hand paws (and a tail possibly) I'd hope to get at least $700 out of it. It has been by far the most time consuming and detailed mask to date. haha It'd take a lot to make me get rid of it. XD
I'd say you could easily get 600-700 out of it, quite possibly more. Whoever wins it though, do they have to pay the full up front or would you be willing to discuss a payment plan? I ask because I am seriously going to bid and hope to win it if you do sell it.
Oh that's easy to fix; I coat glue with latex-stretch paint, yeah I know it's the paint that goes on latex rubber, but it works on any flexible plastic including glue, then I lightly brush it with a bit of talc-powder aka baby-powder to get rid of its sticky surface once it's dried. Or if it's the glues' quite brittle then you can just paint it with acrylic paint then again use talc-powder to get rid of the shine. ^^
But a lot of people are going to be asking to buy this from you, so how will you sell it; give it to the highest bidder or will you seel it to the very first person that claims it (first come first serve)? O.o
