How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

I keep getting asked if and when I'll open up for re-fill badges. I think that time will be coming shortly, but sadly, I have no need for points, just cash. I'm saving up for a new phone, among other things, the cash sure would be helpful. I know points are the more popular currency, and saying no to points kills my business, but with these huge time consuming commissions and everything else being closed, cash flow is slow and I could really use some help.

Keep your eyes peeled for a journal about badges.

I'm tempted to create some new templates, too. And I'll make a poll now to see how many are interested: [link]

Post in the comments if you have any ideas for new poses. Keep it generic and simple, nothing too specific or complex please.

As far as I've understood, points in general cannot be converted into cash but the profits you get from selling premium content downloads - which you receive in points - can be. I'm not sure how it works because I haven't used premium content, though.

~Devinewolff is right. You can convert your points to cash. I'm not entirely sure how to do it, but if you for instance make a poll that says that if you find out how to convert it, you'll open point commissions for re-fill badges, someone will probably explain it for you : )
If you click on the "Shop" tab, then click "My earnings", I think you'll get there. I'm pretty sure you'll figure it out from there. Good luck!

That is the very tab I looked at, there is no option to turn points to cash, only cash to points. If you see something different, take a screen shot please.

When you are in the "my earnings" tab,check the bottom of the left column. There it should say "withdraw by check" and "withdraw by paypal". I'm on my phone, so I can't take a screenshot, but if you still can't find it, I will in on my computer and screencap it for you

you can set it so people have to pay points to download certain deviations,
deviantart takes a certain fee, and the rest can be converted into cash! C:
So you could make a deviation saying 'pay here' where people purchase the badge,
and then convert that.
